As the summer sun starts to warm up, so does the excitement in the world of ZK. Our team at txFusion and txSync kicked off the season with a bang, attending two major conferences: BlockSplit and ETH Belgrade. 😎

📍 First stop: BlockSplit

Our adventure began in the beautiful city of Split, Croatia, for the BlockSplit conference.

Of course, we made sure to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful beaches before heading to the conference. 🌴

Since the day one, the venue was buzzing with energy as leaders, developers, and enthusiasts from the blockchain community gathered to share insights and innovations.

Conference kicked off with lots of interesting panels and presentations. We learned about the mysteries behind Ethereum EIP-4844 and its game-changing impact on gas fees. We also listened to Shirly Vage’s talk on why privacy is needed in Web3 amidst the growing trend of GDPR and data protection.

Another highlight was a session by Filip Rogalski from RedStone on rollup as a service and oracles. Our Head of Product, Filip, even had the chance to chat with him and share some insights from the industry!

A particularly memorable panel featured Jakov Buratović, Jorge Cuartero, Marin Tvrdić, Brad Harrison and Marko Jurina, who discussed the latest trends in staking, liquid staking, and liquid restaking. It was a pleasure to hear their insights and learn about the latest innovations in the space.

And we can’t forget the very creative presentation where we learned about game theory concepts from Clément Lesaege by playing really fun games. It was an awesome way to learn and meet new frens in the process 😎

The combination of inspiring talks, innovative panels, and engaging activities at BlockSplit made it a perfect event that set a high bar for our ZK Summer. We left Split feeling inspired, energized, and ready for the next adventure!

📍Next Stop: ETH Belgrade

From the sun-kissed beaches of Split, we made our way to the vibrant city of Belgrade, Serbia, for the ETH Belgrade conference.

We went deep into the vibrant world of NFTs and DeFi, gathering invaluable insights and connecting with pioneers in the field. One of the highlights was the talk "Why No One Cares About Your NFT Project" by Jacob Haap. Jacob's candid approach and in-depth analysis left us both enlightened and inspired!

Then it was time to explore the latest happening in DeFi. We were particularly captivated by a session led by DefiNikola, which shed light on cutting-edge developments. Another memorable moment came during the panel "Enabling DeFi to be More," where industry leaders painted a compelling picture of DeFi's expansive future.

Not to brag, but the best part was when our Head of Product, Filip, took the stage with his presentation on building a Paymaster on ZKsync. It was great to see so much interest and enthusiasm in our work, as well as in accessible blockchain technologies. 🔥

Once again, ETH Belgrade proved to be an incredible experience!

Team Building

And since we are remote company, getting together in person was really important for us. Both in Split and Belgrade, we made the most of our time together by hanging out, going out, talking, and touring the cities. 🌆 It was a perfect mix of work and fun, beyond our usual screens.

In Split, we soaked up the local culture, explored historical landmarks, and chilled on the beautiful beaches. Belgrade was just as amazing, with its history and awesome nightlife.

These experiences were more than just fun; they were reminder of how important these moments are for the whole company.

It's clear this is just the beginning of what's already shaping up to be an unforgettable summer. With so much learned and shared, the excitement is just building! Who knows what the ZK summer actually holds 🤔
