Welcome to the recap of the event that was definitely THE PLACE TO BE for all blockchain enthusiasts from all over the world - the ETHDenver 2023!
The event has come and gone, leaving behind a trail of exciting innovations, inspiring speeches, and lots of fun. It was held from Feb 24 - Mar 5 at the Colorado Convention Center, we were there, and it was nothing short of amazing!
In this article, we'll recap some of the highlights of ETHDenver 2023.
First up, let's talk about the people!
With Christophe Fonteneau from Request Finance we had a great conversation about invoicing and token distribution in web3 space, as well as the challenges on the same topic.
The zkSync team was present there as well! We had a blast talking to Antonio, a Developer Relations Engineer from Matter Labs. And of course, Ramon our man, was there too đş
At ETHDenver BUIDLWeek was also held the Interop Summit 2023. We had two magical days and Galen Moore from Axelar Network was a host & presenter of the summit, who really made the whole experience memorable! And speaking of zkSync and Axelar Network, do catch up with details on their collaboration to bring cross-chain infrastructure to the zkSync Era ecosystem.
Let's not forget the ETHDenver Food Truck Experience! We developed a backend service to support zkSyncâs BuidlBux project on ETHDenver that enabled visitors to pay for their food using BUIDLBux Food Truck tokens.
ETHDenver 2023 was all about pushing the boundaries of what's possible with blockchain technology. It was great listening to Anthony Rose, Head of Engineering from Matter Labs, giving an excellent introduction to Account Abstraction during the zkSync sessions.
ETHDenver collaborated with MEW and zkSync Era chain to create a crypto-native food purchasing experience using the MEW wallet app. The experience was smooth, and we loved it how everyone at the service desks used web3 in a secure and simple way to charge us for our burger and coffee!
But of course, ETHDenver 2023 wasn't all about serious business. There was plenty of fun to be had, too.
Attendees could participate in impromptu hackathons, play games, dance parties, and even a blockchain-themed escape room. And let's not forget the legendary ETHDenver after-party, which featured top-notch DJs and plenty of opportunities to network and unwind.
To sum it all up, ETHDenver 2023 was a melting pot of people from different backgrounds and cultures. We had the pleasure of meeting some of the most innovative and passionate people in the industry. From innovative projects to insightful talks, ETHDenver 2023 had it all. We can't wait for next year to do it all over again!
