Yesterday marked an exciting milestone in blockchain as Sophon officially launched its mainnet, built using the ZK Stack.

Sophon is an entertainment-focused ZK Chain designed to seamlessly integrate high-throughput applications like gaming, AI, and social finance (SocialFi). Their mission is to make blockchain technology invisible to users, allowing them to experience the full benefits of crypto without the complexities typically associated with the tech.

As a team dedicated to simplifying tech, we collaborated closely with Sophon to bring this vision to life, ensuring their users can enjoy seamless, onchain experiences without needing to understand the technology.

Our partnership with Sophon shows how teamwork drives real blockchain innovation! From the outset, we worked closely with them to develop the most advanced and decentralized Paymaster ever built on ZKsync, using Tsuko.

Tsuko focuses on supporting the entire Sophon network by enabling free network fees for all users. And did we mention it's fully owned by Sophon’s team? This is one thing that sets Tsuko apart.

What We Achieved With Sophon

1. Created an Advanced Paymaster for their entire network, partners, and users:
   • Partner-Specific Sponsorship: Trusted partners deploying contracts are whitelisted, enabling all related interactions to be gas-free.
   • User Accessibility: Users can enjoy gas-free transactions when interacting with sponsored contracts, reducing barriers to adoption. This feature is available only during the initial stage of the mainnet rollout.
   • Advanced Features: Customizable sponsorship options, precise gas management, and targeted incentives designed for partners and dApps.
2. Integrated Tsuko on Sophon Network:
   • Integrating Tsuko on Sophon, we made it possible for users to create Paymaster on Sophon.

This Paymaster enables seamless blockchain interactions for gamers, developers, and creators, promoting adoption.

Two Phases of Paymaster Transition

The Paymaster integration will progress through two stages:

• Phase 1 (Current): All transactions on the Sophon network are managed by the Paymaster program developed by txSync. This ensures users enjoy gas-free interactions during the early stages of the mainnet launch.
• Phase 2 (Future): After $SOPH tokens are distributed and the txSync Paymaster program ends, most dApps are expected to switch to their own Paymasters using Tsuko. This offers greater flexibility and decentralization for developers and applications.

• The paymaster leverages the native SOPH token to sponsor network fees, ensuring zero-cost interactions for users.
• Trusted partners and contracts can be whitelisted to enable seamless, gas-free interactions for their dApps.
