Since we launched txSync - the #1 platform for all who want to learn, use, and build on top of zkSync, we have been overwhelmed by the positive response from our users and the blockchain community! We also received a flood of questions about our platform.
We hear you, and we're here to provide answers!
This blog post is dedicated to addressing the most frequently asked questions we've encountered from our community, and it will be updated regularly.
Ok, let’s go!
txSync is the #1 platform for all who want to learn, use, and build on top of zkSync. On it you will find txPortal and txBridge.
No, txSync is owned by txFusion.
txSync and zkSync are business partners.
txPortal provides all the required tools for working with the zkSync Era and for efficient, user-friendly management of your digital assets across zkSync networks. You can connect, view, and take control of your digital assets with great ease, through our txPortal.
Yes, txPortal is the official zkSync portal!
zkSync took another step forward in journey towards decentralization by deciding to hand it off to the txFusion team to officially run it, maintain it and improve it. With its user-friendly interface, txPortal is enabeling users to seamlessly bridge tokens in and out of zkSync Era.
txBridge is a tool that allows you to easily transfer funds between Ethereum and zkSync Networks.
Yes, txBridge is native bridge.
If you visit zkSync website at https://zksync.io/explore , you will find txBridge as a recommended tool.
zkSync took a step further towards decentralization by open-sourcing their bridge and handing it off to the txFusion team to officially run it, maintain it and improve it. You can use txBridge to bridge in funds to zkSync Era.
Currently, you might not spot any major changes, but behind the scenes, txFusion team has added a lot of small improvements that enhanced the bridge’s performance and functionality. Moving forward, we’re working on further improving txBridge in our own way, by introducing more noticeable upgrades. We will share with you the news regarding every upcoming improvement, so stay tuned!
Yes, txBridge is safe and reliable, and recommended by zkSync. You can find their official announcement here:
Do bear in mind that txBridge is recently launched, and that there is a possibility of experiencing some issues from time to time. The issues you might experience along the way are connected with the third-party providers, but we are working on adding features and making the best possible bridge in the ecosystem.
txBridge is just an interface to the zkSync network, so if you experience a bit slower transaction, that might be impacted by many other factors regarding the chain itself.
If you used txBridge to deposit your funds, you should see the explorer.zksync.io link after your transaction is submitted, and you can follow it there.
After you completed transaction on txBridge, check the "Transactions" section on the left side of your screen, below your wallet address. (see image below)
For the deposits, it can take up to around 15-20 minutes when the network is busy.
The time lock is initially configured for a 24-hour delay, which will gradually decrease as the system matures. You can read more about that here.
If you haven't received your assets immediately, please be patient.
Sometimes, due to the network traffic, it may take some time for your assets to be transferred to your account. This is normal and you do not need to worry. We recommend waiting for a bit, and if the issue persists, feel free to reach out to us by opening a Support ticket on our Discord server.
To report any problem or ask a question, join txSync official Discord server here. You can also reach out to us on our official X (Twitter) account.
We hope this FAQs has cleared things about txSync, txBridge and txPortal! If you have any more questions, we encourage you to reach out to us via Discord or reach out to us via other channels!
Thank you for being a part of our community!
