Hello txCitizens! 🌟
As the ZKsync ecosystem continues to evolve, we at txFusion and txSync are thrilled to be at the forefront, driving innovation and user experience. Today, we're excited to share a significant enhancement to our txPortal and txBridge:
The $ZK token has been long awaited by the community, and its release marks a crucial milestone in the ZKsync ecosystem. This swift addition to our platform underscores our commitment to providing flexibility and choice to our users.
Now, alongside other supported tokens, you can opt to use $ZK for gas fees, enhancing your transaction experience with even more stability and efficiency. 🚀
-More Choices, More Control: You no longer need to rely solely on ETH or other tokens for gas fees. With $ZK, you have another robust option, reducing dependency on traditional choices.
-Seamless Transactions: Continue to transfer or withdraw your assets with the same ease as before, but now with the added option of using $ZK. It's all about enhancing your experience, making it smoother and more adaptable to your needs.
-User-Centric Innovation: This update reflects our continuous dedication to responding to our community's needs and leading the way in blockchain technology advancements.
Switching to $ZK token for gas payments is straightforward:
1. Navigate to the 'Choose Token' option on both txPortal and txBridge.
2. Select $ZK from the list, and you’re set! The interface is designed to be intuitive for both beginners and experienced users alike.
Additionally, your wallet may show a slightly modified ‘Signature request’ pop-up when signing a transaction that uses ZK as a fee token (see image below).
This is completely normal, and it is related to most wallets not supporting custom paymaster signing messages. When you sign the message, you will be able to track the transaction status on the ZKsync block explorer in the same way you do for any other transaction made on our txPortal and txBridge!
We're thrilled to offer this new flexibility in how you manage your transactions on txSync. As always, your feedback is invaluable to us. Share your thoughts, and let's continue to build txCity, block by block, together. 👷🏻
