Hyperlane & ZKsync Integration

A big step toward making information sharing among blockchains easier has been made. Hyperlane, the leading protocol for connecting blockchains, with the support of txFusion, is now integrated with ZKsync!

Hyperlane works by creating a safe and simple way for blockchains to talk to each other without extra steps. And the new connection with ZKsync will make blockchain communication even better.

As the first step towards this vision, txFusion supported the transition of Hyperlane to ZKsync by expanding its capabilities and enabling the deployment of compatible Hyperlane contracts between Ethereum (L1) and ZKsync (L2) networks.

We took on the challenge of adapting Hyperlane's infrastructure for ZKsync. Here’s how we made it happen:

• SDK Expansion: txFusion enhanced Hyperlane’s software development kit to support ZKsync, ensuring compatibility and usability across the ZKsync network.
• Seamless Contract Deployment: We simplified the deployment of Hyperlane’s contracts on ZKsync, empowering developers to bridge tokens and launch interchain applications without technical roadblocks.
• Smart Contract Compilation: Acting as a compiler, we optimized contract code for ZKsync, ensuring it aligned with the unique architecture of the ZKsync VM.

In short, txFusion acted as a “bridge to bridging,” making sure everything works smoothly 🧈 in the process.

Why is This Such a Big Deal?

Hyperlane is all about making blockchains work together, and now it supports ZKsync Era and the ZKsync Virtual Machine (VM) bringing permissionless interoperability to the growing ZKsync ecosystem. ZK Chains can now connect to 80+ chains with Hyperlane!

This is the first time anyone has done something like this on ZKsync, setting the stage for even more connections between chains in the future!

This integration is a game-changer for users, because it allows:

• More Chains Connection: ZKsync can now link to other blockchains like Polygon, Arbitrum, and Ethereum, and not just other ZK chains.
• Developer-Friendly: Building and deploying apps across chains is now easier than ever.
• Secure Communication: Hyperlane’s advanced security ensures safe transactions across chains.

Hyperlane’s vision goes beyond connecting ZKsync to other ZK Chains!

This is just the beginning, for all of us! The ultimate goal is to unify all chains, from L1 to L2 and L3 networks, under a single interoperable framework.
